So I was watching some TV today, MTV to be precise, and some bullshit comedy based game show came on. I forget what it was called, but for the most part the host was a huge douche, Tera Reid was one of the actresses and we all know she couldn’t act if her life depended on it, and the rest of the cast was just Z lister wannabe’s. What really struck me and shocked me today was when one of the black cast members in one scene decided to take a crack at one of the Asian characters penis size. So what the fuck? You don’t see Asian’s publicly humiliating blacks by making fun of their intelligence or etiquette. You don’t see Asian’s being so fucking obnoxious and acting like illiterate improper ghetto fucks. This may be because of the lack of an Asian presence in the media, but this 5 second clip sparked anger in me and inspired me to write this piece I call.. “Race”

Race.

They say, “don’t call us niggas, you ain’t black. Don’t stereotype us, you love chicken and waffles too. You call us uneducated but where were you when we were in school. You don’t know what it’s like to be black.” Attack him or offend him and you’re labeled a racist, a bigot, the man putting him down.

Then why does that black man test the China Man? You say we eat rice, have buck teeth, squinty eyes, and smell like soy sauce. You think Panda Express is real Chinese food. You joke our penises are small, we love to do math, our women are sex fiends, and our language consist of “ching’s”, “chong’s”, and “choy’s”.

What your ignorant ass doesn’t know is that we too were oppressed. A China man’s chance while for the white man we danced, building America’s railroads when you black man were too afraid. Cannery road was another one of our homes where we spent countless days in sickening conditions in Monterey Bay. We were oppressed too black man, but we didn’t complain.

My parents rose up and told me to study hard, that one day I may have a better future than they. They fought hard for a roof to put over my head, and they never complained and never went mad. So I studied my math and played my violin and up went my IQ, SAT scores, and chance at a better future. So what say you now about my tiny penis black man?

So I say, “don’t call me a Chink, but not because you ain’t Asian. Don’t stereotype me, not because you love fried rice and dumplings too. You call me a nerd and complain when I graduate from college. Where were you when I was in school? Black man, you don’t know what it’s like to be Asian.” Attack me or offend me and nobody complains because their scared you’ll complain. But guess what black man? You’re your own hypocrite of race.
